North Carolina Fellowship of Friends, at its second annual gathering on 10 August 2019 at Quaker Lake Camp, Climax, North Carolina, approved the accompanying “Prayer for the Healing of Our Nation.” This “Prayer” arose from a concern within the membership of our Social Justice Working Group and was drafted and seasoned by the membership of the Working Group before being brought to the body for consideration. Friends received this “Prayer” at the morning business session, considered it while discerning with members of the Working Group during the day, and approved it after careful and prayerful discussion. We submit this “Prayer” to you for your consideration and use.
